Thousand Layer Garden Quartz — also known as Lodolite, Scenic Quartz, or Shamanic Dream Stone — is a unique variety of clear quartz featuring multi-coloured mineral inclusions stacked in distinct, mesmerizing layers resembling miniature landscapes, terraces, or underwater gardens.

Physical Traits & Formation

  • Composition: Silicon dioxide quartz encasing trace minerals like chlorite, feldspar, hematite, iron, and manganese.
  • Appearance: Displays stacked phantom-like strata (similar to tree rings) capturing different cycles of crystal growth over thousands of years.
  • Colours: Ranging from mossy greens and browns to rusty reds, pinks, creams, and greys.
  • Origin: Primarily sourced from the Minas Gerais region in Brazil.
